Just had the blessing of being referred to Dr Peters for surgery to remove cancerous nodes from my breast. She is wonderful with her positive attitude and confidence that “things will be okay.” I never had a doctor come visit me right before surgery to check things and reassure me; this made me feel even better and her upbeat attitude relaxed me . I had surgery 3 days ago , and as of yesterday my pain level was maybe a 1. (A surgeon once told me the faster they work the less pain we have.) I personally love her “no nonsense..let’s do this” attitude, and who sees me as a healthy person and didn’t “make me a patient.”
