Dr. Hensrud is what I hope a physician is. Very logical, aware of his own and other physician's biases, and ultimately concerned about the well being of the patient. The last sentence ended with the word "patient," but I get the feeling that it could be replaced with "society", "Americans" or "mankind." I felt like I was in the presence of a very wise man.
