I went to Dr.Shumway because of a painful bump on a big toe.While I was there I asked him if he knew anything about neuropathy.After talking to him about the pain he ordered a new test done.When the results came back he explained nerve decompression surgery.I had it done on the right leg.The horrible pain was immediately gone.The only pain I had was from the incisions from the surgery.Four week later I had the left leg done.I am currently recuperating from that surgery. For 2 years I visited 3 doctors for this condition and all I got was pain pills.I thank God that I went to Dr.Shumway.He is a very caring doctor with a great beside manner.
