How likely are you to recommend Dr. Dolbeare?
Dr. Dolbeare performed a digital flexor tendon repair on the middle finder of my dominant (right) hand in Dec 2021. It is now Mar 2022 and I have had full use of my finger for over a month now. The only lingering effect I have is some tightness in the tendon. When I perform my daily stretches properly, even that is minimal. I was not an ideal case as I didn't realize my tendon was severed (due to swelling from the laceration) and therefore did not have my tendon repair surgery ASAP (which is ideal to avoid the tendon retracting into the hand and scar tissue building up). Despite this, Dr. Dolbeare did a fantastic job repairing my tendon with minimal scarring to my finger and excellent grip strength and flexibility of the joints. I also did approximately 8-10 physical therapy sessions with Sally Brown at BoulderCentre Hand & Physical Therapy. Sally was also excellent and I highly recommend using their PT department following surgery! I am very, very happy with my surgical outcome!
