My husband had an appointment with Dr Collis last year. We were expecting/dreading a hip replacement. Dr Collis looked at the xray and said it was just inflammation and would subside. He was right. He was very patient and thorough with answering questions. I can't speak to his surgical skills but he was just what I look for in a doctor--didn't try to treat unnecessarily, was knowledgeable, welcomed questions, and answered them clearly. Based on that, I would strongly recommend him.
