Dr. Groothuis was my father's neurologist who helped diagnose and treat his Parkinsonism. He has a gentle way about him and treated my father with the utmost respect. I also found him extremely knowledgeable, though he took the time to explain everything in terms that we could understand. Of all the doctors that my father had (he passed away several years ago at the age of 86), Dr. Groothuis was by far his favorite doctor.
