I had a hard time finding a surgeon for a complex revision procedure needed after a previous bowel operation elsewhere. Dr. Schwartzberg's office team scheduled my appointment and exam promptly. Options were discussed. It was a complicated situation and the team was thorough. The additional supporting via the wider team (stoma nurses and PAs) is knowledgeable, compassionate, and detail oriented. Best stoma nurse team I have experienced... helps reduce stress after surgery having to manage a 'new' ostomy. The doctor follows-up and explains.
