How likely are you to recommend Dr. Garber?
Dr. Garber not only explains everything - this will taste bad, this will make you feel weird, this will be uncomfortable for a moment, but he listens to you. He remembers things from previous visits. He doesn't appear to be in a rush, but focuses on you. He also loves his job- he gets really excited showing you the images on the camera, even if you don't understand them all. At one point afterward a procedure I felt like I couldn't breathe and he calmed me down, reassured that I really could breathe, showed me a breathing technique, and then explained why the attack really was a good thing, in a way, as it helped confirm his diagnosis and treatment . He's also willing to admit when he's forgotten to tell you something.
