The arthritis in both of my knees had gotten to the point that I was no longer able to walk for exercise. I have Type 2 diabetes, and walking was necessary to help keep my condition under control. My PCP referred me to Dr. Brigati to see if I was a good candidate for replacement surgery.From my first meeting with Dr. Brigati I was impressed by his friendly nature and his thoroughness in explaining how the process would work. It was the same with his assistants and all of the office staff. Since I was 79 years old at the time, and facing bilateral knee replacement surgery, Dr. Brigati referred me to a cardiologist for testing to ensure that I was healthy enough for the procedure.He also explained about the physical therapy that would follow the surgery. I appreciate how well I was informed ahead of time, and how well the surgery turned out. The whole process has proceeded just as Dr. Brigati had explained.
