After being a patient of the same psychiatrist for 15 years for anxiety, I had. I had interviewed four other doctors, and Dr. Ault was the last interview, and I walked in believing I had already made my choice and this would be a pro forma interview. Three hours later, I realized I found a doctor, who was also a person who was very adept at understanding my communication style and able to respond without any hesitation. Within a short time, he realized I had been un/misdiagnosed & prescribed the wrong medication after 15-yrs This was an improved acknowledgment of destructive behaviors I developed to overcome surviving issues as I grew up. From the start, Dr. Ault allowed me to lead our talks and would occasionally throw out a different perspective for me to ponder. I thought my professional success was due to my "superpowers" that I seemed to possess instead of my colleagues. Bottom line: I have suffered my entire life being not diagnosed with ADHD. The story continues...
