I was in Memorial Herman in The Woodlands. I had been there 5 days and was placed in ICU with COVID. Was about to go on the ventilator when this Doctor entered my room in a pair of shiny cowboy boots. Walked in and shook my hand. He was the only Dr. in 6 days that actually showed me any respect or humanity. He talked me into trying different treatments rather than the ventilator and most likely saved my life. He continued to visit each day and spend time with me talking about anything but COVID and never once made me feel like my life was over. Unlike most of the nurses and doctors at this hospital.
