I had my first IUD inserted by Dr.Terk. He fully explained what to expect. My first period after was more painful than what I normally experience. Even though this is a common occurrence with new IUDs, Dr.Terk brought me in right away for an ultrasound. It turns out everything was fine. However, it is SUPER important to me that my pain was never downplayed. He took my concerns seriously and wanted to make sure my reproductive health was intact. He is very respectful and compassionate.
