After fighting what I thought was a stomach virus, I was raced to Huntington Hospital. To our surprise, my gallbladder was infected, not functioning, and massive. As a very athletic, healthy, and fit 48 year old, this was a shock. Unable to walk, I sat in a wheelchair. Dr. Galvin met with me just before surgery, he was poised, open, honest, and exuded confidence. I felt at peace. His surgery was a complete success. He came to my bedside twice, and we talked. He gave me great care. Bravo!
