As a resident at BIDMC, Dr. Rowe was part of Dr. Peter Chang's urology team. I underwent a radical cystoprostatectomy with a neo-bladder and suffered some rather serious complications accompanied by bouts of gut-wrenching fear. Dr. Rowe's kind attention and effervescence saved me from despair. She also acted successfully as my advocate in discussions with the infectious disease team, that wanted me fitted with a permanent IV port, which I did not want. To Dr. Rowe I will be forever grateful.
