I saw Dr. Kvamme at San Joaquin Hospital in Bakersfield, CA. She was kind, diligent and overly professional. She treated me like a patient and a human being with a real health issue. I've seen another ER Dr who refused to address my condition and writing me off as a drug seeker, which could not be further from the truth. When I explained to Dr. Kvamme how I was treated previously she took that very serious and didn't treat me like a criminal. I can't express how thankful and appreciative that I am to have been able to have her treat me, even though she couldn't offer an explanation as to why I'm so sick, vomiting, nauseated and having diarrhea, she did offer hope that a GI Dr that I've been awaiting to see would be able to help more and get the the bottom of my 3 year battle of stomach pain that literally feels like I have an asteroid rolling around in my stomach. It was nice to be treated as a patient with a legitimate issue as opposed to a criminal seeking pain medication. Thanks Dr.
