Dr Savopoulou performed emergency surgery on me for a perforated colon and sepsis in 2012. I came by ambulance into the ER at Jordan Hospital in Plymouth MA and she took over my case. The surgery was a success and resulted in my having a colostomy bag for 3 months and was then reversed. Dr Savopoulou visited me every day during my 10 day hospital stay and made me feel confident in my prognosis. She went above and beyond by constructing a “ belly button “ for me during the surgery …a thoughtful touch that only a female would think of. I was in very bad shape with sepsis and I owe my life to Dr Savopoulou. She left Plymouth soon after that time and I feel that her new patients in PA are lucky to have her!
