After a total foot and ankle reconstruction by another foot surgeon here in Redding, Ca left me in so much agony that not only could I not walk from the pain (a sharp plate at my ankle had slipped and was cutting into me constantly) and the other slipped titanium plate on top of my arch was causing pain too—-but nobody really understood or cared—— until I found Dr. Hembre. I knew the previous young charming original surgeon was never redoing. He immediately gave me hope, ordered more tests, and eventually agreed to go in and remove ( it had been 11 months so it wasn’t easy) all the previously placed hardware, and start over. He used real cadaver bone and some screws and has monitored and listened to me laugh and cry throughout this process. I’m 4 months out and am doing fabulous!!! I thank God daily for orchestrating this meeting with this Amazing Surgeon. I can’t say enough good things about him. His staff is in a class all their own too. No other choice but Cole Hembre. Really.
