My husband saw two other podiatrists in Meridian, was told he had a Mortons Neuroma, given 3 shots in the foot, told he would need surgery, and that an MRI was unnecessary. Although an ultrasound at a pain clinic couldn't detect a neuroma, the podiatrists insisted there was one, or perhaps two. Upon a neighbor's recommendation, my husband went to Dr. Johnson. After an examination, the doctor was skeptical about a neuroma and recommended an MRI which confirmed there was no neuroma. By following the recommendations of the previous podiatrists, my husband would have had a bigger problem in the future. So my husband was glad he went to see Dr. Johnson. He was very knowledgable, pleasant, professional and friendly, extremely thorough, easy to understand, explained the issues well, and his input was extremely valuable. His nurse was also very knowledgable, competent, friendly, and professional. We highly recommend Dr. Johnson for anyone needing a podiatrist who you can trust.
