Dr Yen performed L3/L4 fusion surgery for me at the University of Virginia in March 2022. He used a less-invasive method in which he went to the site via the right side of my body rather than from the back. I went home the next day, was walking with a walker regularly within a day or two and trashed all of the stronger pain medications, using only over-the-counter.... and gradually reducing to 0 within a week. The original pain was gone immediately and I have had no recurrence since then. I continue to applaud Dr Yen's work.
