I can say in my lifetime I was fortunate to have met some wonderful caring doctors both in and outside of medical situations and privy to the ins and outs of the medical field and the doctor from within (a retired nurse here). I found doctor Rake or he found me when I had a procedure done at UCLA 3 years ago I have to said it was a pleasure to have met him. Fast forward I had the same procedure done earlier to day a week before I requested Dr. Rake be my Anesthiogist and there he was. I was happy to have again . He was attentive and made me more at ease and asked if was ok if he said a prayer for me and he took the time to do so which I so much appreciated. I found him to be humble and respectful to my beliefs it was gratifying to see a doctor that was not caught up in the “it’s all about me attitude “ I’m so blessed to have him as my Anesthiogist even for a short time. I definitely would recommend patients to to seek him out when that time comes when you a Anesthiogist.
