Dr. Thomas is a doctor who actually cares about her patients. I and my family have patients with her since 2002. She takes the time to sit with and discuss any concerns she may have and whatever concerns I may have. I completely understand her choice to remove herself from any of the insurances, especially Medicare.They drop her charges to totally unreasonable amounts and too much paperwork. I dont know what my daughter and I would do when she finally decides to retire. I was living in S. Central PA until my house burned down we now are living in Frederick. i will drive up to Emmitsburg to see her before I would change my Healthcare. Just know that she is wonderful and if you have opportunity to visit her office her secretary, Donna is the sweetest person. She is never rude dismissive.
