How likely are you to recommend Dr. Lawrie?

(Select your rating)
I spent the past 40 years knowing that I would need a TKR due to having my medial meniscus removed in 1980. Being a physical therapist, I knew specifically what I was looking for in an orthopedic surgeon. I was especially impressed that he looked me directly in my eyes when talking to me and I did not feel rushed during that consultation visit. I was relieved that he agreed with me that it was time for a TKR as my knee not only was painful but was becoming more and more bow-legged. I was not able to straighten my knee pre-surgery but the morning after my surgery, I sat on the side of the bed and could straighten it completely! Using ice constantly, correctly elevating the leg, compressing the knee with an ace wrap, and of course concentrating on exercise, I am 2 months post-op with complete extension and 135 degrees of knee flexion! I highly recommend Dr. Lawrie, not only for his surgical skill, but also for being a compassionate individual with exceptional bedside manner!
