I saw Dr. Heard for a hip problem after total hip replacement by another doctor. I have had pain and difficulty walking. Dr. Heard took x-rays and did a thorough exam and history of my health. He watched me walk, he measured the leg length differential two different ways, and examined my hips, abdomen and legs. He is extremely thorough. He discovered that I have tendinitis in both hips plus he suspects a hernia. He referred me to a general surgeon to check out the possible hernia, and will see me back in a month to re-evaluate. Meanwhile, I will meet with the general surgeon in two days. Dr. Heard is wonderful, kind, and listened carefully to all my answers to his questions. After all this time and seeing other doctors who only look at their x-rays and other tests, only Dr. Heard was able to discover the problems.Thank you Dr. Heard for being so thorough and kind. I do not care how long I would need to wait to see him, he is well worth the wait! I am so glad he was recommended to me! ??
