I met Dr. Chad Ruechel at Catawba Valley Medical Center. I went to Emergency Department due to right shoulder pain and intense pain and swelling in my face. Dr. Ruechel ordered a Ct SCAN of my face and scapula. He was very thorough, knowledgeable, and competent. Prior to being released, he had me set up with an orthopedic surgeon and prescribed antibiotics to have me feeling better. Dr. Ruechel did a phenomenal job in guiding my care. I am very thankful that he was the doctor assigned to my case. Additionally, he was genuine and I felt like he left no stone unturned to assist me with finding answers. Lucky are we to have such an exemplary doctor in the Emergency Room at Catawba Valley Medical Center.
