I came to Dr.Lee 2months ago to discuss my jaw problem. I had a new Teflon disc and ligament put in my right jaw in 1983.In 1985 I had to have them removed, as my body was rejecting the implant and I developed a serious staph infection and was hospitalized for a week! I have had no disc or ligament in my right jaw since then.The Drs. in California have been telling me ever since 1985 that there’s nothing they can do for me and that I just have to live with it! I had arthritis in my jaw and a horrible bite problem for so many years that I really tried to cope with all the pain and chewing problems.We moved to Idaho 11/2 yrs ago and I began looking for an Oral Surgeon. My family doctor told me about an amazing dr. in Rexburg, Idaho.Dr. Lee saw me and told me that he’s been fixing TMJ problems for a long time.I finally had hope. I had the total joint replacement on June 11th.I was only in the hospital over night and I needed no pain meds at all; just some Tylenol.Feels great!!
