We had the pleasure of having Dr. Nahed perform surgery for a fourth time on our precious daughter. About a month later she developed very serious health complications and was taken to our local community hospital. She needed to be seen at MGH. They were unable to get her transferred. Dr Brian Nahed found out about our situation, and got involved. Within minutes he called, and said he would attempt 'to move heaven and earth' to get her to MGH. Within minutes a life flight was on its way, and our daughter was at MGH. The hospital staff did all that was possible, her condition was unbearable, so the following morning we decided to stop treatment, and just keep her comfortable. She died shortly thereafter, in my arms. Dr Nahed proved his compassion, and genuine care for his patients by doing all, actually beyond all, that I could ask of a physician. Although our daugher finally died, I thank God often for this amazing person, who kept her alive and comfortable, and helped us.
