Patient Reviews
Jan 30, 2023
I was referred to Dr. Michelotti by a surgical department head at UW Madison Hospital. He completed both a nose biopsy for cancer and plastic reconstruction after Mohs surgery. He performed a skin graft on the top of my nose. It has been four months since the skin graft; I just had my final visit with him. He listens, is very approachable and has a very calm demeanor during office visits. I was never kept waiting. I am not a judge of results, since this was the first and the last time (I hope) for the top of my nose to have a skin graft. He chose to take skin from my neck. That scar is hardly visible. I am hopeful the next stage he is recommending (with another physician) will reduce the current scarring and patch-like appearance.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
