Not only is Dr. Weiner among the top-rated spine surgeons in Houston, he also is the most patient-focused physician I've encountered in my lengthy experience. After almost four years of ongoing, stabbing lumbar and thoracic pain, and undergoing many epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, and nerve ablations, Dr. Weiner was the first spine specialist to order a CT Myelogram to identify the root of the problem. He then developed next steps based on those results. Prior to undergoing the CT Myelogram, Dr. Weiner provided me with his cell phone number so I could notify him when the test had been completed. He immediately responded the two times I've sent him a text. In summary, Dr. Weiner is the Complete Package. He far exceeds expectations in terms of knowledge, skill and talent, and he genuinely cares about his patients. He made the move to private practice several months ago, so now is even more accessible. I've been elsewhere, but no longer. Dr. Weiner is my #1.
