Several years ago when I was seven months pregnant, I developed bacterial pneumonia and became septic. Sepsis is caused by your body releasing chemicals to fight a major infection and it can cause organ failure and death. I was very very ill. By the time I went to the ER my left lung was barely functioning. Dr. Little was assigned to my case and he literally saved mine and my unborn daughter’s lives. He came to check on me in the hospital so many times - far more than was required back then. He was so very dedicated and caring. And after more than two weeks in the hospital, with dose after dose of intravenous meds, and then having my daughter two months later, he asked that I bring my baby with me to my follow-up appointments! I believe he wanted to see her to assure himself of her health, too. My family and I are forever grateful to Dr. Little. He is the best of the best in his fields! Thank you so much, Dr. Little!!
