I live near Chicago, IL and I have glaucoma. About 4 yrs ago a laser oper was done on my left eye and I lost my vision in that eye. The oper also created painful blisters and I was told that I'd have to have the eye removed to eliminate the pain. I became leery of that Dr and contacted Mayo Clinic. Dr Sit said that they could've saved my eye site and referred me to a glaucoma Dr at the Univ of Ill Med Center, Chicago. Thanks to them, I still have the eye and the blisters are almost gone.
