My 82-year old mom had cancer in her lower right lung lobe. We were referred to Dr. S from another doctor. Before our appointment, Dr. S had already called the referring doctor and was up-to-speed on her case. Dr. S had a plan and orchestrated surgery for my mom the following week (week of Christmas). This meant we had to get several tests completed which his office helped to arrange. He thoroughly explained the surgery to us and gave mom his three rules she had to agree to if he was going to do the surgery (mom had to eat sitting in a chair, she had to walk in the hospital post surgery, and she had to sit up in bed after surgery). It’s been 3-months and mom is walking 8,000-10,000 steps a day. She feels great, has no pain, and is thrilled with her results. Dr. S is still working hard on her follow-up surveillance and her medical strategy for long term prevention. Thank you Dr. S!
