Patient Reviews
Aug 21, 2021
Doctor Arash Salemi, cardiac surgeon along with co-ordinating cardiologist, Dr. Torre performed a TAVR operation on me on May 10, 2021. The operation was a success. There were many tests and evaluations done by these doctors to see whether my arteries and heart could accommodate this operation with minimal risk. I was thrilled that neither doctor mentioned my weight 240 lbs 5'5 &1/2 " which was in my mind a major risk, but it appears they discounted that as a significant problem. The after care by nurses and aides in the hospital was excellent as well. In addition, the one time post visit to the doctor's clinic to conduct a multifaceted examination after the operation, viewed the replacement valve for complete functioning as successful! If you need a replacement aortic valve, I strongly recommend Dr. Salemi and his team!!
