Dr. Kouser is a compassionate , trustworthy and knowledgeable. I highly recommend. I had a visit yesterday, (Im a retired nurse. Nurse from 1994-2021.) I am on Oxygen, congenital heart defect, autoimmune diseases, 20% lung function. I was informed my visit was changed to NP. Which would be usually ok, but I had medication changes I wanted to discuss with MD..NP tech took my vitals. Pumped cuff, did extreme fast release. I seen first systolic beat at 158. Pulse Ox was 89-92% on 2L O2. 104 heart rate. Tech charted B/P= 120/80. O2 Sat=98%. Why?!? What was the purpose of making me normal? I’m not normal and it’s ok. Not normal is my baseline. So.. look at the pulse ox on your finger, make sure it matches your record. Thankfully my husband seen the numbers, we have 6 pulse ox at home. It’s frustrating for false vitals on a legal document. We spoke to front office person about our concerns upon making next appointment. Again this not Dr. K or his actual Nurse. It was the NP staff member.
