Usually when I choose a doctor, I do a lot of research to find the best doctor I can - I'm pretty picky. Well, in the case of Dr. Valente, my doctor at Southwest Family Physicians had just left for another group, and Dr. Valente was a new hire and at the time about 5 years out of her residency, and so by chance I got put with her. Well, I got really lucky as she turned out to be one of the most knowledgeable, smart, and caring primary care physicians I have had. You can tell when a doctor really cares and tries to provide the best care, and that is how Dr. Valente works. I have moved to a new city now, and have had to find new medical providers, but if you have the opportunity to be in the care of Dr. Valente, you will be very well cared for.
