My first impression of Dr. Soares was that she was too rigid and always wanted to follow the same script every time. She also didn't seem to care about me much. As I've gotten to know her, I think she cares a lot, and a lot of the reason she comes across as cold is that she cares a lot, and doesn't want to get hurt with all her crazy patients because most of us, including myself, just seems to get worse over time. I can tell she hopes the best for me, and I like that she accepts I'm going to do experiments. I wouldn't say she likes them, but she doesn't give me a hard time about it. I respect that. I also note that even though I have to follow her rigid script, I always end up getting to say what I wanted to anyway - it's just not under my terms. I'm not sure if she's good for everyone, but she's good for me, and probably others if they give her a proper chance.
