Dr. Jones knew from a young age she wanted to be a doctor. Her grandfather was a physician in a small town in Mississippi, made a huge impact on others' lives, and was her inspiration to become a doctor. She also felt a calling to the field of neurology from a young age as many of her friends and family members have neurologic conditions. These personal experiences have shaped her into a more compassionate neurologist. She believes that patients deserve and need to be educated about their medical issues and be actively involved in their healthcare decisions. She also is sensitive to the overwhelming amount of information that comes with neurologic diagnoses and tries to listen to each individual's story and communicate on their level what is relevant to their needs.
