I was diagnosed with TMJ as a teenager, and throughout the decade since I've tried various treatments/therapies to alleviate my jaw pain. I've lived with tightness, muscle aches, pain and headaches for years of my life and had basically accepted that status as normal (continual pain shouldn't be normal). During Covid my TMJ pain grew beyond what I could handle (masks pulling on my jaw had a big effect) so I sought treatment once again and found Dr. Norman. Through a diligent and methodical process, she looked at the root cause of the issue instead of trying to cover up my pain with a band-aid. Her whole office radiates joy and a positive energy. Dr. Norman is truly one of the most excellent and knowledgeable people in her field, and I highly recommend her to anybody with TMJ pain.
