Dr. Adajar saved me. My condition turned out to be more complicated than anticipated. Thanks to his skillfulness, paired with the advanced technology Dr. Adajar uses, I am on the mend after a grueling surgery. Dr. Adajar is thorough, he explains all the steps patiently during pre and post op appointments, he is kind in his demeanor, takes time to answer questions and is very accommodating. He takes care to ensure a non-addictive pain management regimen. Dr. Adajar’s specialty is minimally invasive surgery, which is leaving me with minimal scarring relative to what took place internally. I am very grateful to him. I could not have been in better hands.

- Dr. Adajar is a board-certified OB/GYN with advanced training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. A pioneer of mini-laparoscopic techniques, Dr. Adajar is able to consistently perform complex surgeries, including hysterectomies, with minimal scarring and an opioid-free recovery. He joined AdventHealth Medical Group's elite GYN surgery team in Central Florida from his native Chicago, where he held multiple leadership positions including as President of the Illinois Institute of Gynecology & Advanced Pelvic Surgery and Women's Health Program Coordinator & Clinical Supervisor at Presence Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center. He is currently a Senior Advisory Board Member of the American Institute of Minimally Invasive Surgery and, as the head of his own private practice, he earned elite designation as a Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery.
