For the past 3 1/2 years I had been living in the most excruciating, hard, painful and very traumatic life with the bladder I was living with. May of 2022, my right kidney went into full pyelonephritis. I had over 32 abscesses on my kidney and it was killing me at that point. I had emergency surgery and I lost my left kidney. I was hospitalized for almost 4 weeks because the pyelonephritis got so bad I was dying quickly living with an overactive bladder that was refluxing up into my kidneys. At this point I was then put on the kidney transplant list for as the year of 2022 I was living with a nephostomy tube until we figured out what to do. We now could see I had refluxing of the bladder and my right kidney would not survive with bladder. I am now only not even 5 months post op from a cytestcomy/illeal conduit Dr Vanni and his team performed and I am living the life I have been dreaming about. PAIN FREE, and living a normal life. I would refer anyone to this team and Dr Vanni. THANKU!
