Dr. Thakur happened to be in the hospital when I was sent to Emergency during an Evaluation in the office of my Internist. Dr. Thakur stepped in when my cardiologist wasn't available & within a few minutes, I was prepped for surgery with Dr. Thakur telling me that I may have had open heart surgery when I wake up or may have several stents. Turned out, I had 5 stents inserted when I woke up. Not only do I give Dr. Thakur credit for saving my life but he inserted 2 of the longest stents manufactured, and was able to put them together. His insertion of stents saved me from open heart surgery. Over a period of 20 years, he has performed 7- 8 heart caths on me and I trust him to no end. He explains in depth, studies my chart & results of testing with each visit and answers any questions I have. In addition, he goes over my meds with every visit. I not only trust him, I like him as a person & followed him when he moved to another office and location.
