Dr. Thrower is a knowledgable and dedicated oncologist who helped me tremendously during one of the darkest times of my life. She attended my emotional and psychological needs as well as my physical needs. She kept me well informed and explained what was going in a way that I could understand and so I felt involved in my treatment, like I had ownership in my recovery. Although it has been years since I've been Abby's patient, I think of her often and thank God (literally) I just happened to land in her office after my diagnosis.
