He listens, provided a thorough physical exam. I’m over weight and losing it slowly; I felt like he didn’t order enough labs… I had to ask him for a urinalysis which I thought was strange, and he didn’t run a CBC. I don’t know if my insurance coverage dictates what he decides to order for routine labs or what; but my previous physician ordered more labs similar to what you can have ordered yourself at labcorp. This was my only negative takeaway which I will discuss at our next visit as this was only our first. I don’t mind paying out of pocket, but I understand others do, so perhaps that factored into his decision making based on what ins covers etc. I don’t know. Other than that, Dr Douglas seems like a good dude.
