Dr Donna Scherz was one of the most capable and respectful doctors I have met. She treated my father who was staying in rehab after a fall, where he broke his coccyx and needed months of therapy. I had not yet met Dr. Scherz, but from my fathers reports of her, I felt like I already had. I was told of her kindness and open mind when speaking with him, and how she never made him feel upset or agitated. When he had a roommate who was suffering from mental issues and tried to throw a lamp at him, Dr. Scherz was empathetic and listened to his worries for hours. When I got the chance to meet Dr. Scherz, I realized everything he said about her was true and more. She was not only a therapist for my father, but for me as well. I was going through a divorce, and dr. Scherz actually sat with me and listened to my fears. She was certainly the best part of my fathers stay- and I might just have to break break his coccyx again to see her again!
