How likely are you to recommend Colene Wade?
Since I haven't had a checkup for over three years, and my longtime family physician was limiting his practice before retiring, I made an appointment through WMed for the first time. I have seen their promos on my Facebook feed for several months. When I called, I was assigned to PA Wade. However, in the exam room, Olivia Drier, a PA student, came in to do my checkup. I accept this because WMed is part of Western Michigan University's School of Medicine, and the student did a very good checkup. When she was through, she went out to confer with Colene Wade, PA. After a while, they both returned for further discussion before my visit was over. However, afterwards, I felt my checkup was incomplete, even though what was done was well done. As a senior male, genital (testicle) and prostate exams are important for a current health assessment. These were both left out of my checkup, and would indicate a lacking in WMU's training program and limited scope of the wellness visit.
