I want to start by saying how grateful I am to have Clairissa as a therapist! When I first began my healing journey, I was struggling with my mental health relating mostly to childhood trauma, and finally decided that no amount of late night Reddit forums or self help book reading would give me the kind of healing that I was looking for. I was lucky to (on my second try for a therapist) happen upon Clairissa and quickly scheduled an appointment not knowing exactly what to expect and feeling pretty nervous about being vulnerable with a stranger. I was relieved to find that on the other end of the screen was a very intelligent, compassionate, caring, trauma informed, and understanding human being. I’ve been working with Clairissa for around two years and through her compassion and guidance my life has dramatically changed because of her help. There are many times she has gone out of her way and extended the session to help me too and for that I am so grateful!
