Carie is a strong, calming presence?once I went to see her because I had developed a painful skin rash/eczema. Fortunately she was able to get me in quickly, and after checking me over, she explained that in Chinese medicinal terms, I had an excess of heat in my body?which was ?burning me up.? I had several treatments and began taking Chinese herbs to balance my chi. It was amazing how much better I felt?not just my skin, but my energy and outlook! I consider myself lucky to be in her care.
