My friend Sarah had been complaining about her endometriosis pain for months but she's terrified of doctors and she's got this fear that every potentially minor thing is actually going to turn into cancer. She's had some cancer scares in the past so I don't fault her for that. But so when I was visiting her we made a plan for her to go get checked out and Brieana could fit us in right away. Sarah was so worried and scared but Brieana spoke softly to her and reassured her and told her what she was doing each step of the way. Some doctors would have rushed and Sarah would have hated them for that but Brieana seemed to know just how worried Sarah was and that was so good to see because she really did help her. I love my friend and I'm so glad that now she has someone she can go to to help her and that she feels safe and comfortable around. Someone who didn't rush her, who listened to her, and who validated her fears and worries. That was so great. Thank you Brieana for taking care of her.
