When I had my first child, I was not in a great place. It didn't help that I already had a bad upbringing resulting in no contact with my family of origin. Dr. Tindall helped me feel like I could talk to him without judgement, that my feelings were valid, but without giving me excuses or just agreeing with me to make me feel better without an actual answer. My experience with him helped me learn how to self reflect rather than justify any bad behavior. I would recommend him if you want the skills to be able to help yourself after you leave his office rather than if you'd like a counselor who would only agree with what you say.
