I had light depressive symptoms for 5 years before full-blown depression. I had suicidal thought every second for several month. I attempted to purchase tools for suicide but failed. As a last ditch effort, I seek a help from Stony Brook University psychology center and among the several therapists referred to, I met Dr. Cottone. He had been like a uncle or even a father figure I never had. After 10 years, I still remain in contact with him, try to live normal, better life. He still reaches out to help me whole-heartedly. I never can repay what he has done for me.
