Dr. Howarth was the 3rd orthopedic joint replacement/revision specialist, after talking with PTs, that I met with over the 9 years that I knew I'd have to undergo a serious total hip revision surgery. He listened patiently & compassionately to my fears based on my initial failed surgery that also left me with additional damage. He meticulously addressed my questions & many curiosities regarding the surgery procedure & all it entailed. He listened to & acknowledged my personal struggles & stresses in life. Dr. Howarth's obvious expertise, professionalism, respect for me & my needs & fears, soon developed my trust in him; so much so, that regarding a certain aspect of my procedure he let me know he may not be able to accomplish the "ideal" outcome. I had complete faith that he would succeed in that, & he did! I honestly can't fully express my gratitude for the time, knowledge, skill, & energy that Dr. Howarth put into my case, while ensuring the safest possible surgery environment!
